As a makeup lover, especially having a huge love for an eyeshadow, Natasha Denona is one of the brand that I always wanted to examine the eyeshadow formulations. Isn’t that enough reason to but her products? Anyway, this time again, she released a mini retro palette with beautiful color story that steal my heart. Olive and peach! Never thought that these color together will be paired well. Of course, I didn’t get this blindly. After all the rumors on youtube that her mini palette is a miss big time, I need to recheck in order to convince myself before I bite the bullet. Everyone on the youtube seems to love it and I haven’t come across the trash review. So I decided to get it. Now let me walk you through my thoughts on this palette after using it religiously for a month now.
Swatches
Left to right, Galaxia, a light nude shade, has green and blue sparks. Next, Industrial Green, a green taupe shade, has silver reflects. The third shade is 60’s, a greenish grey shade, has a matte finish. Then, Vintage Taupe, an antique rose shade, has a matte finish. Finally, Pixia, a pink shade, has a champagne shift.
The Packaging
I love how small and compact it is, great for travel or even everyday use as it is not bulky and loghtweight. The lid is hinged and sturdy so you can flip it all the way up or half way. The pan size is perfect I can dip my brush with no fuss.
Performance
What can I say, I have to agree with all beauty gurus who gets the hype of this. I do too! However, I just wish that Industrial Green has more green base rather than silver. Yes, this shade feels like butter and so easy to pack on the lid. It just has more silver packed than the green. But overall, all the shades are blending beautifully. I have no issue working the shades with my natural bristles brush or synthetic brush. This is the palette that you can pull out for everyday look.
I don’t regret buying this palette and I’m glad I have this in my collection. I definitely recommend it if you are considering to get this palette to add in your vanity. What do you think about this palette?
