So skincare regime does take a big role for good healthy looking skin. You don’t need an extravagant treatment to achieve healthy skin. Here is some basic yet fundamental habit to take up in your routine.
1. Cleanse Your Face
Cleansing is prior in skincare routine to remove your daily grime. A gentle cleanser never goes wrong. Look for a cleanser that provides pH balanced with Sulphate-free and soap free. Try to stay away from foaming cleansers as it contains detergent and emulsifies oils from the skin.
Moisturizer not made for dry skin only. No matter how greasy your skin, you need moisturizer. The best moisturizer for your skin is what suits your skin type. If you have dry skin, you need thicker moisturizer. The creamy texture is recommended for dry skin type. Look for something that labelled as “nourishing” or “hydrating”. 3. Apply Sunscreen daily
Not only to prevent skin cancer, wearing SPF can slow down the aging process. How if you spend most of the time at home? Well, when you are indoors, lights emit ultraviolet energy (UV) through the windows which can cause sun damage. So wearing sunscreen is necessary even if you are at home. 4. Exfoliate (but not over exfoliate)
Exfoliator rids any dry, rough and dull skin by removing dead skin cells from the surface of the skin. This speeds up the skin turnover, allowing smoother, healthier skin cells and help to ease discolouration. I would recommend to look for a chemical exfoliant rather than physical exfoliant. 5. Stay Away From Popping Pimples
I know it can be satisfying to popping out zits, but the outcome isn’t satisfying either. This such an explicit policy in a skincare routine. Not only can cause irritation and dark spot but also can spread bacteria which lead to more breakouts.
